If she hadn’t asked a question about where to buy a DVD, I’d never have gone to the site. Oops…

In other news, um, not much. I’m getting fed up repeating my availabilty to various GW types; “I can do evenings and weekends, I’d rather not work Sunday, I’d prefer it if you gave the hours to people who need the money, I’m always available in an emergency”. How hard is that for a manager to understand? I felt a little sorry for the Plymouth manager while we were talking though, he’s obviously a careerist, and I didn’t have the heart to burst his bubble; “I work here when needed, because it’s fun and a break fromt he office. I don’t want a career with the company, I helped train both of your current bosses when they started with the company, and I earn more than you do, I don’t need the money.” I don’t think he’d have liked that. Was supposed to work tonight, but I was asked to switch to Thursday instead.
Suits me, meant I could listen to the new Guide episode at first broadcast. Went to Jason’s Sunday, played Pirates of the Spanish Main; great game, we’ve, um, bought a few boats for it; recommend it to anyone who likes the idea of miniature games but, like me, can’t be arsed by all the painting bollocks, it’s better than the other games they’ve done because the models actually look reasonably good when put together. That and the Captain Jack Sparrow impressions you can do…
Well, back to catching up with webcomics; to those annoyed by the star wars link in my last post? You didn’t have to click it, and, well, I just needed to share the pain. Still haven’t completely ruled out London this weekend coming; Mike, if I do come up, I’ll find a cheap hotel in town, but likely park near you. Unlikely to happen, but, well, I could do with a break and
‘I kick one addiction and go straight into another’
Yes.
As I remarked to Becky last night, Babylon 5 is more addictive than crack. We’ve just started season 3, so I better get around to buying season 4 soon - I’m not sure how long I can go without it, y’see.
Happy to lend DVDs, no idea what you have I’d like to watch. I’ll be along to gamesoc this sunday, so if you’re around we can talk then.

Dark Angel series 1&2, the Lost World adaptation that was on BBC at Xmas a few years back, B5 Crusade (crap, but, well, it’s still B5) and other random stuff. B5 series 2 would be cool to borrow if that’s ok with you? Haven’t watched it for ages. Got a few films, and I’m likely to keep buying stuff; note series 5 of Angel, I’ll buy 1 thru 4 at some point…

Well, she’s crashing at mine now, so it does make arrangeing to meet up fairly straightforward too

I’ll bring B5 with me Sunday - I’d like to see Crusade at some point after watching the rest of the series. Shouldn’t be too long, we seem to be averaging a few episodes a night at the moment…
