(the hardback, I bought it in the January sales and it’s now top of the pile of books to read next. Not that it will be, as I’ll buy a new and shiny book and have to read that first; or the third Thursday Next book as I’m enjoying the second immensely).
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal…along with these instructions.
5. Don’t search around and look for the “coolest” book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.
That wasn’t the closest book BTW, as the closest was the Stephen Baxter hardback underneath it, but it was top of the pile…
