Blair: The Machiavelli test
Interesting analysis of Blair’s rule on
He may not be a prince among men, but he can claim to be a genuine success in a sea of mediocrity.
Always did like Machiavelli’s writing style, but prefer his approach in the Discourses. Ah well, time to actually shut down and drive to Exeter.
“[Men] are successful if their methods match the circumstances and unsuccessful if they do not.”
it’s so true… hmmm… *spots another book to read at some point in the next 5 years…*
“Thus, with Mr Blair coming to the end of his time in charge, before leaving to join the circus […] it seems a good time to reflect on his reign.”
*laughs* XD

The Prince is the book that essentially passed me my first year and allowed me to complete the degree; happy to lend it to you whenever you want, it’s short.
